Tuesday's Craft

Guidelines for Your Craft:

  • Please prepare one craft that will take up the entire 30 minutes of allotted time.

  • Arrive with all of the necessary supplies.

  • Think outside the box – let the kids create something they’d want to keep!

  • Crafts should be appropriate for ages 6-14. You may come up with separate crafts for each age group (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14) or the same craft that can span the age groups. Each age group will have between 12-15 children, for a total of 48-60 children.

  • Please prepare specific instructions for putting the craft together, including a completed craft to use as an example.

What NOT to Bring:

  • Foam stickers

  • Coloring sheets

Wednesday Night

Bible Lesson

The lessons for Wednesday Night Church will be led weekly by the Barnabas youth minister. Our overarcing theme for the summer is the Sermon on the Mount. Each youth minister has been assigned a passage from the Sermon on the Mount.

We ask that Barnabas youth ministers prepare a 15-20 minute lesson on their assigned Bible passage. Prepare your lesson however you feel comfortable. It does not need to be tailored to our students’ demographic. In fact, we hope this time will push our students to think about their faith in ways they haven’t before. Please contact the Summer Director if you have any questions or concerns.
